Police Shoot & Kill Protesters Using Live Rounds | Chankharpool, Dhaka

On the eve of Hasina’s dramatic downfall, a few police squads were deployed near the Chankharpool area to prevent thousands of marching protesters from entering Dhaka. Under the supervision of a commanding officer, they were using tear gas and rubber bullets. Following orders from police officers, several policemen were observed firing live rounds from Chinese automatic rifles at unarmed protesters approximately 100-150 yards away.

The narrator emphasizes that the policemen were continuously shooting, changing magazines repeatedly as they fired live ammunition. This incident highlights the escalation of force used against protesters in the final days of Hasina’s government, with law enforcement resorting to lethal measures against unarmed civilians.
